This Downtown Residence exemplifies the meaning of neutral or 'beige dream' if you will. The project acts as a case study space for Daniel-it is where he first found his true self within a color palette.
Daniel likes to think of his color palette as a Dying Rose or Burnt Cigarette: The browns, blacks, and grays come from the burning ash. The whites from the paper, and the metallics and beige/tans from the filter.
"My go to flowers are white roses. I love the way they die-the rich white when they're alive, and the deep tan/beiges as they start to fade to a very dark, masculine brown."
In the living room, each tone in the space embodies this color palette and carries very luxe subtleness in the richness of the fabrics. The reverse painted drink table by Daniel Charles Lodato Studios reflects movement, and where the textured and patterned fabrics bring life back to the death that originally inspired the space.
